This device was originally developed as a tool intended to relieve itching and swelling caused by mosquito and insect bite. It works by applying heat to the affected area for 2 minutes 30 seconds or more (you can repeat this cycle by pressing on-off activation button), which is enough to neutralize the proteins in many types of insect venom without causing pain or further damage to the skin tissue.
